Richmond residents are still eligible to receive up to $9,250 from the Energy Upgrade California rebate programs including Richmond’s R3program. Funding is available on a first come, first serve basis.
The Energy Upgrade California Program includes two home performance rebates currently offered to homeowners by PG&E (Up to $4,000) and the City of Richmond R3 program (Up to $5,000) for a potential rebate of up to $9,000! Residents are encouraged to take advantage of all rebates. Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rebates applications and reservations are completed by us after we do a home energy assessment.
Through Department of Energy grant funding, the Richmond Environmental Initiatives Division is providing up to $250 in rebates to offset the cost of completing a whole house energy performance assessment for energy efficiency projects that would qualify under the Energy Upgrade California Program. The rebates will cover 100% of the assessment costs up to $250. Funding is limited. Rebate reservations are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
